WHSmith are clearing out their CD singles from their stores, due to a continual fall in sales - but the space will be taken up by other media, i.e. films and games. This can only be good news; it might mean that smaller games will be able to make it onto a popular high street shelf instead of being confined within the bowels of a mail order database.
You'll also only find a few videos sold in the video chart, apart from that it's all rows and rows of DVDs.
> who actually buys games from whsmiths?
Not me. One of the reasons is that the one that is near me doesnt update the prices of its games often. This then makes some of their games more expensive than in other stores. Also they have a small collection of games than HMV, Game etc. By the way the Dixons that is near my college doesnt sell Gamecube hardware or software. Also their website has no Gamecube hardware or software.
dont expect them to put more games up,it will more likely be films
No sarcasm intended, I hate seeing singles insetad of games.
