I would have to say that the N64 is better than the DC - it's just more fun and enjoyable. The DC has it's charms too, but the N64 wins this lil' battle.

it's all opinion really

i dont like the n64 coz ileft it on all new and it overheated and died :(

while the dc never did!

although the DC was more advanced it never got as many classic games as the N64 had such as (Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, Mario 64, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Zelda: Majora's Mask, etc)

I could go on. DC wins it for me. Although my favourite ever game was indeed Goldeneye and I did love Perfect Dark. But the Dreamcast just wins in the end.

Buy them all and IF you ever move away from the DC, and manage to tell me that the N64 is better, I'll even pay for the therapy.

Sorry but i just prefer almost every aspect of the N64. The great controller (perhaps the best in history of consoles(except the gamecube)) was just so intuitive. The console had some of firsts (first real 3D platformer, Mario 64) and some of the greats (Goldeneye & PD). But i just prefer nintendo.

Is the N64 better than the DC?

Yes.

I'd have to say the N64 on this one. With games such as Perfect Dark and WWF No Mercy, it's a hard console to beat. :)
