I tried last night, and once again this morning to no avail.
I'm sitting here looking like a bloody tramp!

Get married.
Make sure you put 'iron' down on the list of wedding gifts.
Get married.
Give nice woman the iron.
Give nice woman the shirt.
Run out the door.
Could be a bit of a problem fitting all that in 4 days.
Thanks all the same though FM....
:-)
right :
make sure it's flat
spray some water over it so that the iron dosent stick to it as easily
go over it front and back , start with the sleeves then the colar
then finish with the rest of the shirt
if it shrivels up and burns ..... blame the iron , go back to the shop where you bought the iron and burn the shop attendants shirt to get your own back. (or just say the iron burns stuff and see what they do !!)
Did you know that you can use the pointy end of the ironing board to help you with ironing the shoulders and top of the sleeves? And not just for surfing?
Damn!
How do you turn the iron on? I plug it in, but there's no 'on' switch.
Just make sure you don't get confused and burn your ear when the phone rings.
I have had to iron my own shirst in the past.
Like when she selfishly decided to go give birth, leaving me with no ironed shirts.
Or when she was told she couldn't iron for weeks because she had had a Caesarian.
Mind you, them my mum helped out by taking all of our ironing home.
But yes, ironing shirts is easy.
Just make sure it's laying flat, so you're not putting more creases in it. Use steam in necessary. Just keep going until it looks relatively flat! ;-)
Oh, and don't bother doing bits that will only get creased within minutes anyway. No one will notice these.
