"Web Design Compo?"

I've already started this topic in the 'web design' forum but I thought more people would read it here. The idea is for a web design contest run through SR. Got to the other forum to see what other people have said so far.

SR use .php - you can see it at the end of the location bar.

You don't need software to create a website. This one's probably been done by hand.

You can recognise what packages do what code. Fireworks uses shim images and numbers the tr's, dreamweaver uses divs all over the place, frontpage makes really poor code, True htmlers would show easily.

Just viewed the source of this website, but it doesnt say what was used to make it...?

Yes there is a way, if you go on a website and click (view, then source) the html comes up and if you look through, it sometimes has the software name inside it.

Would it be html only or using webpage building software?

I think there should be a compo, yes.
