Lionhead have just released their "next instalment of Black & White enhancements" This download will basically allow you to build a soccer pitch which requires 8 (bearing in mind a Wonder costs 7) scaffolds to build! When the villagers have no requirements (that means when there are no flags on the storage building) they will start to play a game of footy on the newly constructed pitch. This new patch only works in single player only.

This patch is 1.14MB big and i only have one question, is it worth it? Has anybody had a look at this or has everybody abandoned Black & White (pretty much like i have) due to the enormous bug problems it had?

They also have another add-on which allows you to hear what the villagers are saying/thinking if you zoom in close enough. This patch is 2.2MB big and is this worth downloading as well?

These can be downloaded at the official site.

Max Payne is a good game. I'm playing it throw on Dead on Arrival and i can't believe how many things i've over looked. Like when you are in the bank vault and you shoot the siren above your head for example. Also the number of "secrets" you can find. The New York Minute game is impossible to complete. Doing each level in a minute and you get 10 seconds every time you kill somebody, i can't even do the first level!

Anyway Black and White. Thanks for the patch(s) info. I don't think i'll bother downloading either. Especially the soccer one as, like Goatboy said, the villages always want something. I haven't touched Black & White in ages. The last time i played on this i had a 2 hour go and then it crashed and i just can't be bothered to do all the stuff i did before (teach creature spells, take over villages, build wonders, etc) i guess that'll teach me to save regularly! Do you think they might (dare to) make a sequel?

The speech one only works if you bang on a hut at night, they come out and say some phrase before going back inside.

Hurrah.

Not going to bother with the soccer one, they always need something so it's going to be an age before they play.

I do enjoy the game, but havent played it for an age.
Been Max Payne, Operation Flashpoint and Tropico instead.

Now those are class games.

I downloaded the thing where you can hear the villagers but it doesn't seem to work!! I'll download the soccer bit in a minute.

Even if its bad, it hardly affects the game that much.
