I've played it and it's alright. But nothing special.

I know most people don't think much of dark cloud, but I just love the way it plays (if that makes any sense). So simple, yet challenging. I want to get a final fantasy game, but I've never played it before and I don't know which version would be good to start on. Any ideas?

Final Fantasy 7 is probably the best FF and it's out on PS1. I think Final Fantasy 10 is amazing, if you have enough money get that aswell, it rules. Then get ff10-2, it also rules.
