If you look in August's Issue of GamesMaster review of GT3, you can see a bit about all the Polyphony cars and where to get them.Ill give u the details but I let my mate borrow the mag.I think there are 12 Polyphony cars.

you get the cars from compleating certain endurance races.
and you get the f1 tournement by compleating all beginner and amature races.
