Hi I hope it will let me post this but I am in a predicament.
My internet explorer at the moment is very slow and keeps timing out or coming up as 'page cannot be displayed' I am on a broadband connection no dial up.
It is bugging the bajeepers out of me indeed.
Is there any cure? Or what you reckon it could be? please help me :)

My advice is to give it a few days, I've had this before ages ago and it was BT's fault... or so Nildram said. Basically I had no upstream bandwidth which seemed to affect my downstream performance quite drastically making everything lag like never before. Pings were fine though... So you could try opening up your DOS window thingy and typing 'ping www.bbc.co.uk' and telling us what you get.

The only time that's happened to me was when part of my wireless LAN came discoonected. However, I think it's best you have your PC checked for bugs, or you alter some of the settings on your Internet connection.
I do not think its modem.
Msn and rest of it workin and um well, Kyle (paradox) led me through some cookie setting to alter and it slightly better. I mean I can actually reply in posts before it times me out.
Still weird to usual though

You'd better sort out your modem. That's my advice.
