Yeah lets hope so, judging by what im reading in Magazines and on the internet there shouldn't be any problems with lack of games.

I see we all have confidence in our favourite games company :D

Methinks Nintendo have learned from their mistakes with the N64 so they will proabbaly have lots of games ready for around the time of launch.

I remember reading somewhere that Nintendo have promised a continual healthy flow of releases when the Gamecube comes out. So theres no slow drought of games like for the N64 launch.

Good news wouldn't you say?

Hopefully, the DVD stle format will encourage more developers to make games for them, eh?

hmmm, good reasons, but i seriously doubt that you'll have anything to worry about, then again i really don't wan't a faulty gamecube but hopefully that won't happen as i think that Nintendo have learned from their mistakes, but only time will tell...

March, £200 quid. Not bad considering that PS was £400 quid when it first came out.

However much trust I have in Nintendo I wont but GC straight away for 3 reasons.

1.Might be total rubbish (I doubt this, but well anything could happen)

2.Might be faulty as DJ said.

3.Price, 200 quid is a good price but it will come down.

4.Games, If there is not good release games as nintendo have promised or if games do not come out quick enough we might see the same thing happening to GC as what happened to N64, 1 good game every 6 months.

Ok ok 4. Sorry. Sheesh.

I prefer the backpack idea. Like the GBA and the official carry case, SR can bundle the backpacks from E3 (and probably sold to the general American public soon after) with the GC.

or how about, buy a gamecube and get a voucher that entitles you to a gameboy advance for half price, that sounds more like it!
