As far as I can see Nintendo is dead and alive (isn't that a name of a playstation game). I will still play some games for the nintendo, such as Goldeneye, one of my favourites, WWF No Mercy (not for the wrestlng, just the gameplay), Super Mario and maybe the odd Mortal Kombat 4.

But I also find no reason to buy new games, never bought Perfect Dark, or others that come to mind, the reason, is that all my attention has been drawn to my PC, creating graphic,s playing on Black + White, and my new personal favourtie Unreal Tournament.

For so many people the Nintendo could be just as alive as the PS2 will be, and for others, as dead as a dog been run down on the street (oh, that was an waful thing to say wasn't it).

That's only my opinion, and by the way, I'm back for good!

Nintendo are more alive than they have ever been before... with a 72% increase in profits in the past year and the recently hugely successful GBA! It really is Nintendo who are performing the best in the terms of amount earned.

When it comes to PC gaming it's not just Nintendo that are affected, all consoles are.

The only thing I have about PC gaming is its 'complexity', you don't just insert a disc and off you go, you have to install it, configure it, work out the bugs, download patches, buy addons later on or download them if they are free, and if they ARE free you never know quite what you are downloading.

I prefer the simplicity of consoles. I've never yet bought a console game and then discovered that I'll have to fork out another £120 or so to get a decent graphics card so I can play it in all its glory.

Whereas with Deus Ex, even though I had a decent graphics card, I had to give in to the temptation to get a Voodoo4 just to see it at its best. Even then it turns out I need an even better card to get the full effects.

Same with Diablo II.

Same with Starcraft.

At least with a console you know that the disc you insert is all that you'll need.
