I was in a Games Technology lecture the other day right. And each week the lecturer revolves around being either this guy who use to work in the games industry who actually quite a good lecturer cos he knows what he's talking about, and this other guy, who looks like some sort of childrens TV presenter from about 15 years ago.
Well this TV presenter guy was taking the lecture this week and the topic was Handhelds. It got onto the GBA and the lecturer guy said,
"I think the GBA has just been released in Japan."
He was deadly serious! I shouted down to him,
"erm.... I bought one in town last week!"
He goes,
"Oh, there out already are they?"
"Well, YER! There've been out for months!"
Man that guy it totally not with it! He then was comparing the speeds of handhelds with PC's and he said the classic line,
"PC's are getting into the kilohertz speeds now!"
We all broke out laughing!
Well that's my little real life uni story of the week for ya!
