Why is Nintendo not releasing enough games 30/08/2002
Dringo

I think that Nintendo's games are fantastic, the GC is by far the best console around, but they don't seem to be in a hurry to release new games. It's lucky that they have more third party games than the N64 did, but then that isn't hard.

Perhaps if they made more games they'd make more of a profit against the Playstation 2 and Xbox.

Nintendo are great, but I agree with you Dringo. RELEASE MORE GAMES!!!!

Dringo, if Nintendo released more games then they'd suffer from a lack of original ideas, and if there's one thing that Nintendo are strong on, it's orignal ideas.

Sony release the PS3 next year? 31/08/2002
Ant

Well, we said it would happen, and now Sony announce that the PS3 will appear at the beginning of 2003. It looks a great console too, and technically will blow the competition away, just as the PS2 did when it first arrived.

Sony have said that Square will continue writing software for them and that many of the developers that worked on the X-box have come back to them after Sony gave them development kits and they realised how easy it was to create games for the new system.

Sniper

Yeah, right!

Hopefully Sony has learnt a few lessons and we will see them re-appear with a great new console. Good luck Sony.

by Tony

Right! It's ANOTHER one! The person who comes up with the best suggestion about how SR can reduce capital expenditure over the following fiscal term, concentrating particularly on the 2nd and 3rd quarters, with emphasis on short term depreciation on stock and fast turnaround on grade 1 and grade 2 items, will win a GAME OF THEIR CHOICE!!
