Whether you love him or hate him he is one of the most succesful male artists around at the moment. I have just returned from Hampden, Glasgow where Robbie put on an outstanding show. Im not a huge fan of Robbie Williams but seen as there was a few of my friends and girlfriend were going I thought I might as well go. He is brilliant live and puts on one fine show.

First on stage where ABC, never heard of them before but they entertained the small crowd that had arrived early. The last song "Look of love" was familiar so got me in the mood for some serious partying.
Toploader took to the stage and for anyone who went to T in the Park you will know just how much the scots love their hits like "Dancing in the moonlight" and "Achiles Heel", we were also lucky enough to get a preview of their new song "Cloud 9". Toploader are one of my favourite bands and having the surprise of them playing was just amazing. Really enjoyed their performance.

Then the show began, The stage opened and on he came, bursting with confidence he took the audience by storm, dancing jumping all over the stage. At one point even encouraging the females to remove their tops for all to see (Which a few did do). He said he was amazed by the crowd and that it was the best of the tour and that he would like to be adopted and be scottish. Then said his new name was Robbie MCWilliams. Which the crowd went mad at. They loved it. He mocked the old take that memeber calling them wan...(men who play with themselves :) ) then sung a raved up version of want you back.
He also sung Wyclef jeans "Perfect Gentlemen" and "Rollin'" by Limp Bizkit. The other songs he sang where, "Angels", "We are the champions", "no regrets", "let me entertain you", Eternity", "let love be your energy" and a few others.
So my advise is if you ever get the chance go see him, even if you don't really like him that much he does put on a good show.

I liked the Butlin's analogy someone made - calling him a Blue Coat (was is Sophie Ellis Bextor?). Basically saying the same thing as you, but putting him in the same category as everyone whos every been in a panto ever.

I don't count Robbie Williams as a musician.
However, I will admit that he a top class entertainer.

I can't stand him myself, one egotistical hack singer is much the same as the next to me, but I can't fault the work he puts it.

As for encouraging women to get their baps out...I thought this crap died with Guns n Roses?
Moron behaviour.

Still, I doubt my opinion matters any to him so I'll get on with my life and he can get on with his.
