I'm just wondering has anyone got FFXI on their PC from North America? I'm in Canada at the moment and i'm thinking of buying it and then playing it when i get back to England. However i'm just worried the game: (1) Will not work and (2) If it does how laggy will the game be given the fact i'm on a broadband connection but on an american server

Decided against getting it just in case. Decided to buy MVP Baseball 2004 for my PS2 instead. Will just have to wait for a European release
i've seen posts on other forums by people who play this on import. They seem to love it too :)
PCGamer reviewd the game a few issues ago, the only trouble they had was with registration, but they by passed that by making up a US adress. Seems to have worked fine for them, and it got a very good review too.
I was wondering this a short while ago too. I assume it could work, but there's the problem of billing, registration etc. All that malarky will bet set up for US addresses so we might have a problem.

Well I know that all PC games work on any PC (obviously you need at least the minimum specs).
The other thing I don't have a clue but seeing as stuff like Xbox Live, and streaming stuff like Realplayers stuff works fine, in my experience, when connecting in the US I wouldn't think there is a problem.
