The Akira special edition DVD is taking it's time being released over here. Any idea's when it's coming out?

Which model is it though? About 50% of players have remote hacks and the other 50% can be modded for a small fee. Enter your players madel number and the words "region hack" or something into a search engine and see what turns up. May be easier to play region 1 than you think :)

Well my DVD player only plays region 2 DVD's, so I can't order one over the net. Looks like I`ll have to wait until October then.

Why don't you just import it from one of the numerous nice companies out there? Assuming of course you have a DVD player that can play R1 disks. What moddel of DVD player have you?

I would recommend one, but as they sell R2 DVDs and a few games as well as US DVDs Special Reserve may not like me using their boards to do so :)
