"Operation Flashpoint is irritating me"

I'm stuck on this level with guerillas and get quite far (on last objective) then die and have to start over again and I've already used up that save when I was messing around wondering how it worked etc.. Now I'm getting annoyed with having to restart it!!

Is there any way I can delete that save and allow myself the option to do so when I get to the bit I can't beat?

errr, i dunno. If i were in that situation i would probably give up and stop playing the game. : )
