Go for Total Annhilation and Redalert. They'll run on anything, and are true classics (TA still has a strong fan base years after the makers shut down)

Scratch that. Put down a pre order for AOE III: The Age of Discovery.

In my opinion it sounds great, and judging on the quality of the earlier AOEs I'll definitely pre order it so I don't have to buy it later in the year. Set in the era of 1600-1900, firearms and artillery will be available. Kabooooom!

Yeah, that's what I was going to say. He'll have to stick with AOE2 until he gets a better comp.

Napoleon!

WOOT!

Hang on, AOEII was great, but stupid little armies with fiddly control management and, well, patheticly small forces just don't cut it when Medieval and Rome: Total War are in town.

Civ 3 owned AoE. OWNED!. Waaay better. Waaay waaay waaay better. Get Civ 3. Even though it's turned based it still OWNS AoE. OWNS!
So in conclusion Civ 3 roxors AoE's boxors.
Ok you needn't worry about any more stupid comments, I'm going to bed now.
