"Quick question for the Zelda geeks..."

I received the Collectors edition the other day and am interested in starting at the very beginning on the original Zelda. All I am interested in is how long are the original Zelda games, a minimum and maximum time for completion would be appreciated.

It's fairly easy going but long.

Don't play to beat it. Just enjoy it.

You'll know when you're near the end! ;-)

I'd say it took me about 3 weeks, on and off. It's not really that big, but you may get stuck. Dungeon 7 was a nightmare too, but the final dungeon was an anticlimax.

Well i have the same thing and The original Loz is really hard to start of with, there is noin game story text so you are basically going around blind until you stumble upon the first temple and then the next and so on. There are 9 dungeons in all, the 9th being ganon's HUGE 30 room dungeon compared the other 15 or so rooms.
I have only managed to get to the 6th and have left it a bit to do FF:CC and majoras Mask again, but trust me it is hard.
I have no idea on a time frame because they never have done a clock to time how long it takes you in Zelda games, just a counter on how many times you've died.
