I'm trying to use Freeola's checkout to renew a domain but receive:
An error has occured...
There has been an error processing your request. Our engineers have been made aware of this error and will work to resolve it shortly.
Thought it was worth a post in case it stops people spending money with you all weekend ;¬)
Thanks,
[s]Hmmm...[/s] Yes it can be applied to existing domains. If you visit the domain management page for the domain in your MyFreeola account you should see a Privacy option now.
Apologies for the glitch in the checkout!
Freeola have replied to my ticket and normal service has been resumed :¬)
New functionality being introduced caused the problem.
The new stuff is all related to WHOIS privacy controls - I'll let Freeola announce their changes but it all looks good! :¬)
Hopefully the option isn't only available when you renew/register domains but can be applied to existing ones?
