If you use MSN messenger it has an option to turn all internet programs which load up the internet automatically turn this of and Hey Presto!!!

Most of the techies visit it everyday. It's only dead because people have no problems at the moment.

Yes, I've done it! I uninstalled surfplus and 2 other progs. Thanks for all your help guys!

Ummm, Click Start -> Run and you get a box.

Type msconfig into it and press enter.

Go to the last tab (startup) and list all the programs there.

Ok, I've looked in Control Panel panel and there are other programmes but they aren't running. Could it be surfplus that I need to uninstall?
