I've heard they are compatible with UK games. I know most games have PAL and that, but is the GBA different?

Good, it is about time the systems were compatible with games from america and japan.

YEp you can use any gba game on any gba no matter where it came from. Same is true with the normal GBs. Only you will end up with it in japenese or using american spellings!

Every gba is the same inside as the next , they all play games from any where in the world as there are no international lockouts.
