I think the only difference the new controller has is a port for the live headset (it was a pain in the ass having to have it connected to a joypad believe me) and the buttons are blue instead of red.
I'm assuming the retailers have a deadline to take orders by.
SR and GAME have stopped and they were selling it a few days ago.

They have the same controller, sucker.
Surely they wouldn't be that stupid not to have any support for a normal controller, seeing as Steel Battalion 2 has a different big controller from the original Steel Battalion.

You don't seemingly need the big controller for it. Play are doing it without for £33.
