Scroll down to the alien box: Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600XT 128MB DDR TV-Out/DVI - Lite Retail (GX-035-SP) is £96 + Vat. Good price, I’ll think you'll agree.

The next one down in the alien box is: Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600XT 256MB DDR TV-Out/DVI - Lite Retail (GX-040-SP) £98 + Vat. Now for £2 its not going to break the bank, and I can't see any difference expect for the fact that the £2 more is 256mb and the £2 less is 128mb.

Where’s the catch? What’s the difference? *Get's out credit card*

Thanks

You get a coupon for Halflife 2. You will get drivers and possibly powerDVD. Drivers arent really an issue as they will probably be old and out of date. Halflife 2 will be available to download with the coupon but its only the single player game. The "lite" on this version seems to be in the way its cooled. The "ultimate" has silent cooling instead of a fan. Not much difference and not worth the extra money. I would go for the 256mb version as this is a nice card.

Actually look at the 9800 Pro, its £154.22 so a little more than the 9600 XT, but it will perform better than the 9600 XT. Just look at benchmarks etc.

Yes, i know they we're excluding Vat mate.

The only fault i can spot with both models is the fact that it is "lite" which means no software will be bundled.

I doubt theres any difference as they have the same name apart from the memory size. Look on the manufactures website to get more in depth knowledge. Also one thing to point out is the prices are more than you have put down as the 256mb car is £115.15 and the 128mb is £113.39. The prices you posted were excluding vat.
