I was browsing another TV forum and there was a thread about wanting a undated version of Treasure Hunt to screened once again. For those youngsters or people who can't remember, Treasure Hunt basically involved Anoka Rice, a helicopter and a mad dash around the British countryside.
I agree with the people on that forum and hope that Treasure Hunt will one day grace our screens again. They may even be able to get somebody like Gail Porter or somebody equally attractive to done the famous lycra cat suite. Please Channel 4 bring back Treasure Hunt.

Please channel 4 DON'T bring back Treasure Hunt!
I think some of you guys have bad memories - just think about it for a minute: a whole HOUR of dumb people in a studio telling Anneka Rice to go here and there, running around like a rabbit on heat following dodgy clues until they found the 'treasure' at the end. And that was it. Every week.
I re-iterate - please Channel 4, DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT bring it back.

(unless someone like Kelly Brook took over Anneka's job - just watching her run would be entertainment in itself!)

Damn, i seem to have undermined my whole argument.
Oh well. Kelly Brook. Running. mmmm.

I enjoyed that too.

Her lorry was very cool, she lived in it, and it hled her little buggy thingy.

For those who don't know, a sort of DIY SOS show but on a much much much much larger scale. Man she could whip a group of builders moving very fast indeed.

Unfortunately I can not receive challenge TV as I don't have Sky Digital, I have ITV Digital and cable who show Challenge TV in every area of there franchise, except mine.
I think I can remember the interceptor was it an ITV show.
As for Treasure Hunt, I am sure the production company use what they have told you as a Excuse. The problem probably has more to do with the infinite insurance costs associated with the program. If you have seen fear factor on Sky One, then you will see how "safe" treasure hunt is. Some of the stunts I have seen on Fear Factor are not only dangerous but insane, would you lie unprotected in a pit of about 200+ rats while they literally Bite you? and all for only $50,000 dollars. I think I would have died of a heart attack just thinking about it.

Sorry, as much as I love and adore treasure Hunt, It's really great, It's on Challenge TV every day @ 10:30am if yur wondering. I went on the producers web site an they said that due to the new health and safety regulations it will no loger be able to run, because of the dangerous things the skyrunner had to do.

The Helicopters had to hover over buildings and land near to trees and it is too dangerous now. Many of the things that Annika Rica and Annabelle Croft had to do you would have to have training to do now, so there is no more Treasure Hunt, May it RIP.

Sod Tresure Hunt, I want to see The Interceptor brought back.

Two mupppets charging about the country with backpacks, trying to reach each other to unlock and get the money inside.

Some bloke in a helicopter that had an arm mounted laser thingy that could set off the backpack and you'd lose.
He used to have a hawk or something for a familiar.

Top show.
