Hope so, because it was the perfect ending to this whole situation.
Bearing in mind this episode finishes the repeat run of the series that was originaly broadcast over two years ago.
Tonight was "Moral Decline in Britain", all about how Britain has lost it's way and is "adrift on a sea of anger and stupid boats bumping into each other and screaming at the harbour man to call off the fog".
Contained the classic fake newsflash of Noel Edmonds going mental and shooting Clive Anderson.
Had Austin Tasseltine outside a garage that is raided every 35 minutes and a report into the effects on people's minds of things they see and hear.
Viewers were invited to phone in with their comments (fake obviously) about the state of Britain today and what they felt should be done about it following the release of a song about Myra Hindley.
Quote from Ted Maul (Morris playing a reporter):
"The outrage is palpable that someone should take something so offensive and make it entertainment...I demand that you buy a copy and throw it away, then buy another one and listen to the music before throwing it away again"
Morris at the end:
"Thanks for your phone calls, which have been described by our team as rabid, hysterically pointless, devoid of brain and stupifyingly ill-informed. Thanks"
I wonder if the papers will describe this one tomorrow?
I've said I will say about this programme, and to finish in the words of Chris Morris interviewing John Cruick
"But surely you can't be suggesting that the public is allowed to think or function for themselves? Imagine the chaos, there would be looting, wholesale naffery and fires in bins and things like that"
