http://files.worthplaying.com/files/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownload&cid=464&orderby=dateD for a playable demo of Splinter Cell 2.

I'm currently downloading it now.

Just thought you might like to know.

I really didn't like the first Splinter Cell as I don't like games that require loads of stealth, I prefer a simple 'pick up and play' style of game: like racers and beat-em-ups.

I've played it briefly, but didn't really enjoy it.

Have to give it a proper go.

Whats strnage is that it runs better than Splinter Cell despite being technically better off. Me thinks its a problem that would be sorted with a patch but the demo although running similar to the Xbox version supposedly runs smoother on high end PC's. Might grab the PC version and have a play around with stuff to se why.

Downloaded the demo eariler and its excellent, much better than the first game and it runs like a dream on high resolution with high settings. A few more functions like the whistle work extremely well and the graphics have some how managed to improve. Glad to see more level variation like the ability to go under the train and on top as well as being able to interact with the environment more. Sweet sweet game so far.

My demo won't load at all. I get the splash screen, then it opens the window in preparation of switching to full screen. It then just hangs there for ages, forcing me to hit the reset button on my PC.

Stupid thing. When's OXM out? Do you think they'll have a playable demo before the game's release next week?

Ah b*gger.

Downloaded the demo, but as soon as I try to load the level, it quits the game claiming there's some error with it.
