Welcome to YH's Question of the Day.
Yes! Thats right! (more cheese on the voice) You Can Win! Yes! (extra cheese please) You can win *no cash prizes*!
I just ask as question, and you answer it. How EASY is that! ('scuse me Mr Cheesemonger, can I have some more?) Do u wanna be a part of it? (fake audience canned shouts of "yeah" with the one comedian who always shouts "no" to be really funny. Like, yuh!)
So, are y aready for todays question?
Here it comes!
Why are packets of crisps in multi-packs smaller than packets of crisps you buy loose?
If anyone knows, give us a call, and you could be here. (Voice changes to Mr Cheese Tarrant) Remember! You've got to ring it, to win it!
You're all getting it wrong.
What I mean is, in a multipack bag of Walkers, each individual bag is 25g, when you buy them seperately, they are 34.5g!
Why are they different?
While the crisp is travelling through the factory the larger crisps are always sorted first through the grid, smaller crisps make it furthur along the grid and then fall onto the belt for the multipacks. The larger crisps which fell first go to the single packs which is on a seperate conveyor belt.
FM: Crispmeister.
Buy a packet of Discos, open it to let the air out, shake the crisps down to the bottom, and then push the bag as flat as you can without squashing the crisps.
Now I bet you can fold the pack almost in half.
