Ok, so for weeks and weeks we were asking for moderators, a few months back, and despite claims they were not needed, SR hae implemented them.

Sorry if this happened a while back... I ain't been on the FOG in about a week...

but who are the mods? We were going to nominate them in a similar way to Notables- 2 mods per room, both FOG customers, as oppossed to staff...

someone explain?

Who needs moderators, i think the site is doing great without them. If moderators were to be elected it would probably mean having to use another colour wouldn't it??? I think that we have enough colours already.

Confused is the wrong word. Mildly agitated sums it up better. People who abuse the abuse link will be punished (or abused, the choice is yours).

Are they getting all confused about all the posts we keep reporting to them by accident? I've clicked the wrong link twice so far.

Sorry about that.

There are two moderators who check every single post each day, me and someone called Brad. We also choose the best posts or reviews of the day from which the GAD and FAD winners are chosen.
So for example today I am going through all the posts made yesterday.
There are also other members of staff who moderate the forums but not in as much detail or anything; so basically the new link is so that if there is anything 'dodgy' posted between the time things are written and the time me or Brad gets to read it then you lot can alert another member of staff who will come and get rid of it.
Simple.

But it's not that common, so wouldn't it be far easier to email an insulting post instead?

Besides, I've posted five of my own, just hope I don't get banned for it :-)

Wonder if it's a secret SR plan to publish the top"clicker" at the end of the month, to name and shame? If it is, I've already hit the link nine times.
