Let's start with its good points....The word ''Sims'', suggests that it is a SIMULATION game, thus being able to control their lives, create havock or become the next Braidy Bunch. But before you become the overpowering family member, you must create the house in which you will spend many pleasant and unpleasant times in. Decide how big your house will be, then pick the quality of wallpaper and floors that you want to use. Finally, the furnishings. Once you have created your dream residence, get a job, friends or maybe even a wife or husband and, if you're really keen, create a few designer kids.
And lastly, the bad points. Once you create your family you are given a certain amount of money to get you started in your new life. However, sometimes people expect too much from this small dose of money, then before you know it, you are....BROKE....Unfortunately, the game takes away the reallity of running home to your loved ones and asking for some extra pocket money for the rest of your life.
As more and more incidents of financial embarrassment occur, cheats are invented, giving people the right to buy the whole furniture catalogue. Some people think that it is more thrilling NOT to cheat and others think BIGGER IS BETTER.....personally I think SMALLER IS BETTER...But maybe that's just me?
