I'm after a good gaming mouse and was hoping you lot could help. I remember using these odd-looking ones in a LAN cafe a few years ago, called a 'Razor' I think - could be wrong though.

Anyhoo, It needs to have a ball - not optical (unless you can recommend an optical that doesn't spaz on a textured surface - my desk has those wood-a-like lines on it). Ultra-responsive and spaz-free is the priority here. I hate having to have my MS Optocal on low sensitivity to play games!

So, can ye help?

I hate mouse mats. I find them pointless and annoying, even if they do serve a use.
