What's the best multiplayer game on the market for a wide audience?
Previous likes have been Gauntlet, Baldur's Gate (one and two), Timesplitters 2.

The ones FM mentioned are mostly online titles.
Not sure if you are after online titles or just multiplayer ones you can play with mates in your house.

Pro Evo 3 - Best fooy game out
Eye Toy Play - Always enjoyable
Tekken 4, Smackdown or knockout kings give a bit of multiplayer violence
Tiger woods 2004 - surprisingly enjoyable multiplayer
