The New Memory Card has 1019 Blocks...!

"Nintendo are to release an even larger memory card for all your game save needs.

It seems, almost logically, that as games get better their memory card usage increases. While not always the case a lot of games are now requiring a lot of memory card space.

Originally Nintendo released the Memory Card 251 to counter this, but there are still problems for people with some games. But fret not, Nintendo have a solution.

Nintendo are to release a memory card with 1019 memory card 'blocks' so you can save any game on them. While no official price or release dates have been announced it will probably be shown at E3 and released shortly after, if not before".

Finally, they've seen the light
Next step = a Hardrive :D

I knew they'd do this, eventually! :)

However, I my money's already long-gone on the Logic 3 one, which have been entrusting all my Winning Eleven 6 data on for months now, without a single cause for complaint.

Is it perhaps a case of `[/I]too-little, too-late[/I]´?

How many other games - especially with PAL releases - are we gonna actually have that'll require such a "beast", anyway? Even for games like F-Zero GX, where you can save oodles of replays and stuff, I bet you can get-away with a Memory Card 251, and save yourself some cash.

I doubt it... more like 25 I'd say...

It's like The memory card 59... that RRP is £15 whilst the 251... which is a tad bit bigger... just a tad... is £19.99...

Logic?

It'll end up being £40 or something. But still, it'll be able to handle Madden, which is excellent.

Anyway, shouldn't hold your breath for a European release for this, it's only just being showcased at E3.

I'm currently using...

2x Nintendo 251
3x 4 mb cards

I'm out of space apart from the few odd free blocks here and there.

I did buy a 64 mb card from Datel but it let me down too many times.
