Hi
I recently saw scary movie 2 in America, although it was good I still think it was not as good as the first (as sequels usually aren’t as good as the first anyway) but all in all I did enjoy it.

I am going to write a little about the movie so if you don't want to know then don't read it! Then after that I will add in what ever else pops into my mind.

Ok let’s start

Scary movie 2 starts off with a remake of "The Exorcist" (scary movie way) which I think was the funniest part of the movie, every one is around the piano singing alone to” Shake That Ass" by Mystikal, and the possessed girl comes down and starts peeing on the floor (she goes on forever), the Priest comes and they start the ceremony and when she shouts out f**k me (as she did in the exorcist) what do you think happened yes the priest starts screwing her. After that scene the title screen comes up and it goes to Cindy at college.
In one of her classes she has to go to a haunted house, and that is where the movie starts to get on with the story. There is something in the house but what is it?

The movie has spoofs of the haunting, Charlie’s angels, What Lies Beneath, Hollow Man, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Dude Where's My Car and Hannibal. (With some more spoofs added in also that I have read but can't remember seeing in the movie)

Most of the original cast is in the movie it is still the same Cindy, Shorty Meeks (who just totally annoyed my in the first and this one) and Brenda Meeks (you know the one who got killed at the cinema in the first one, well she must have came back from the dead, and thak god she did as she and cindy are the best in the movie) with the addition of others, but I have to say why was tori spelling in this movie she must be the worst actress ever.

The other thing that I noticed that little to no one gets killed in this one (what is the point of doing a movie like this if everyone if fine at the end?)

I will leave it at that, as it will spoil the rest of the movie if I ramble on about it

The movie didn't have a strong story as in the first, which is why I think people don't like it.
It has non-stop jokes from the start to finish but nothing to have your sides splitting with laughter.

The acting was ok but it is not that great!
The fight scenes from Charlie’s angels was good and I laughed allot at that.

All in all I would give it
6/10 for the story
5/10 for the acting
7/10 for the humour
And an overall score of 8/10!

This movie is worth seeing if you have nothing else to do, and worth buying on DVD to have in your collection and to see what the extra features would be!

A friend of mine downloaded Blair Witch about 8 months before everybody knew what it was. It scared the living * out of us, which just goes to show, hype can ruin a great movie.

Yuck - you don't want filmed in a cinema, not worth the download. You want "screeners", direct from source for sound and picture. The problem with DVD rips are that there needs to be a DVD to rip from, not possible if you want the latest releases. Clearly you can get compressed files, basically the same VCD MPEG but in a lower resolution i.e. not as good and again, not really worth the while.

I got Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon which is 440MB and is better than VCD. VCD is just bigger files. If you use them on your computer than a 300-400MB file will be just as good because you can use all the compression tools that make it small. Dont forget that most of the cinema releases are actually filmed in a cinema so they can only have a certain quality of sound and picture, so having big files doesnt help. My friend has Fight club which is 530MB and is amazing quality and sound as it is a DVD rip just like Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.

Nope but another program like that, Its not from a website but from other peoples computers. It does take along time as I got a 56k modem. Scary Movie 2 is about 195MB. Also got another 24 movies which include a few of the latest releases and some that havent been over here yet. I have over 8 GB of them. Which I have got over the past 3 months. 2 of my friends also download them so we share them. I also have all of Season 7 of Friends and some of Buffy season 5 and Angel season 2.

There usually in VCD format - well they are if you want deceint quality. VCDs traditionally span two CDs, so your talking a 1400MB download, give or take.

If you don't have a broadband connection, don't bother. There is also no point in entering "Download Scary Movie" into a search engine and crossing your fingers. Due to the illegality it tends to be a tight knit community that swaps, rather than offers up for all comers. This is also because you'll be downloading from their computer, using their bandwidth. Along side that there are pretty strict etiquet "rules" expected to be followed, and if you don't these guys can seriously mess with your system.

Oh, and its illegal. Basically, don't do it.
