Whenever I have Quicktime on my comp, it gets all stroppy. It won't run files by itself, I need to run them through IE.

When it works though, it runs some of the best quality video I have seen. Much clearer than WMP.

For me. I find quicktime quicker as it doesn't take forever to load (probably just my slow PC), but it can't play some formats so i use Media Player most the time.

Agreed. When you think about it, EU are just causing more hassle for the end user anyway.

Microsoft will laugh it off, they have $51b in the bank, the fine is pocket change.

Im on Microsoft's side with this one though, what the heck is the point in stopping microsoft from shipping Windows Media Player with their operating system anyway? As the president of Microsoft uk said, if you want access to all media formats on the internet you need media player, Real player and quicktime. All the other products are crap in comparison anyway.
