Usually i wouldn't care because i'd just get the NA or Japanese version of the game but as i can't go online with those versions of the game then i am pretty annoyed at this. If other companies can produce games that offer online support in the PAL region why can't Capcom?

Slightly happier today after reading that Capcom has announced a $90 million loss in profits. Serves them right

Are you just selling it prove a point, because to do so with the intention of buying one again is totally moronic.

I keep reading threads around here from people who bought their 3rd GC back again and that kind of thing... what a waste of money!

That's one less reason to keep my PS2 then.

I may as well sell it and buy another one if GTA San Andreas is temporarily exclusive.

Yea that was my point FM, other companies can bring online games out so what exactly is so hard about Capcom making an online Resi for Euro gamers?

Other publishers don't seem to be having problems bringing out online co-op games for the PS2 albeit all of them so far are closely affiliated with Sony, e.g. TIF 2004 in house, Syphon Filter by Sony Bend and Champions of Norrath, a Sony Online Entertainment original game.

So yeah, I think it's fair to say we got shafted by Capcom this time around.

I miss my old PS2 sometimes, but this is another reason to make me hate it, the online is crap on PS2, it really is and UK PS2 owners get treated like dirt, crappy conversions, removed online etc, europe has a big market and idiots like capcom fail to see it, they will only give us some bull about broadband not being widespread, I don't care as long as some people can get it.

RE4 is the only reason I'm holding on to my GC at the moment.

To be honest I don't see it working great online, certainly not going to be one you would play again and again. It is annoying that we don't get an online version to at least see what it would be like. Its like most things though, console colours etc We just don't seem to get them.
Perhaps we need to complain more and get our voices heard by the right kind of people.

Resi 4 looks outstanding from what I've seen and I really hope it turns out as planned.

I'm not going to buy a gamecube just for a few games mainly because i can't afford to support 2 consoles and also the only thing that interests me at the moment on the cube is the Twin Snakes
