If you DON'T want a game with a decent single player mode, then go for Unreal, but if you do then get TS2, no questions asked.

Yes, because it would be a year after 2003, and they usually make sequels to good games (the one before 2003)

Yes, because it would be a year after 2003, and they usually make sequels to good games (the one before 2003)
If Timesplitters 2 was online it would narrowly beat Unreal. However Unreal is the closest thing to Timesplitters 2 online - so it really comes down to whether you want an online game or not.
I, for one, have played both. Unreal Championship is just an Xbox version of Unreal Tournament 2003. I can tolerate Championship because I can have multiplayer games against friends without neeeding a network computer. Tournament 2003, however, was RUBBISH! It is no surprise to me that they have brought out a 2004 version.
I had heard great things about Time Splitters 2. So, naturally, I was unimpressed to find it hadn't deserved those great comments I'd been told. While the multi-player aspect is cool, and while the plot isn't too bad; I couldn't stomach the actual campaign long enough to like it.
To put it short - Unreal Championship is the clear winner, if anything, by default. But, that's just my opinion.

Yes you gave your opinion and I gave mine, if I wanted to discuss it I would have asked you to justify your comments, as it stands I couldn't give a rats testicle. Only a small few people actually worth discussing anything with on here anyway.

No my problem is reading the same old crap over and over. You made your point about it being excellent, I didn't need someone to tell me more, I played enough of the crap when it was released.

Nah, I just found it incredibly fun to play - some of the most fun I've had in this generation of consoles. In my opinion, the best conventional console FPS.
