After searching through my music collection, I have rediscovered 2 of my all time favourite songs. Both songs share common attributes, both were released around a decade ago and both songs feature female vocalists.
In your wondering by the way, the songs are, 1. Shakespeares Sister - Stay and 2. Martika - Toy Solders. Both songs were released years before anybody had herd about Shampoo,The Spice Girls or girl their girl power phenomenal. In my opinion at least both Shakespeares Sister ,Martika and of cause not forgetting another great Belinda Carlisle were the original pioneers of Girl Power.
