I used to have a YaBB installation, but deleted the *entire* directory tree structure a long time ago.
I have just looked at this months server log stats and it shows positive impressions and hits for the directory structure that is simply not there.
My understanding was an impression is an actual physical page hit. I.e. the file has to be on the server and found in order to count as an impression.

Looks like the stats are pretty high-level so might be hard to track down.
The best bet would be to see what the 'Searches and Referrer' page throws up.
[s]Hmmm...[/s] I'm not familiar with the level of reporting you get.
Some screen images would be useful.
Can you see how your visitors are arriving?
If you are happy the pages are no longer available then I'll stick with my 'cached' (Search Engines) or 'archived' (Wayback Machine, etc.) theory...
[s]Hmmm...[/s] I don't know how to use any stats packages (I asked previously but got no response).

I'm sure Hmmm... has hit close there. I'm not sure whether hitting a dead website would cause an impression to be logged, or as Hmmm.... says, hitting a cached version on a search engine. It has to be one of those two I'm sure.
Unless of course the analytics are just going mental? :S
I'll have a go at replying seeing as no one else has ;¬)
You haven't given details of the stats/analytics package you're referring to, so might need some more details.
Is it possible the 'hits' are coming from cached pages (cached by the numerous search engines and archive sites) that could be causing the impressions?
