I have spent 2 hrs creating a page that could have been done in 1/2hr on Word - and when previewed the content bears little resemblence to my editing screen!! My theory went thus: highlight all, copy, paste into Word, redesign, and paste back. Oh! if only.
There is no direct copy and paste in the editing screen (and for god's sake can it not be bigger than a third of the available space?). The page was Standard yet the right click menus offer Table Options only.
The spaces that are created in the editing screen do not appear when going live. Everything is squashed up with no paragraph divisions.
The images that are place perfect on the editing screen just choose wherever they like for the live version.
The whole reason people choose templates for their websites is because they are not capable of HTML and creating from scratch. Why are the templates designed with the assumption that I know the secrets?

Hello - should be fine :¬)
With InstantPro you can exclude pages from the 'navigation' so the outside world don't see them and provide a direct link to the page here.
[s]Hmmm...[/s] My Freeola Instant Site I still don't understand why tables are used when I created the page as one long list of info?
Despite this advice I still have the problem of misaligned and squashed up text. BTW: I did press the return bar to create the line divisions.

It is nearly impossible to create a web version of Microsoft Word. Word is a word processor and it wasn't intended to be used a web page designer.
As for the paste box area, this was design to be adequate for a 1024 x 768 (17") screen without loads of browser toolbars installed. If the editing area is a problem for you then please check your screen resolution and disable any browser toolbars or addons that may be taking up the screen space.
I'm assuming you are referring to Freeola's InstantPro application?
There are a few frustrations with InstantPro; but as with most computer tasks once you become familiar with things it becomes much easier - remember, many people have problems using MS Word!
Pasting Content
As you mention, the right-hand click menu is used for Table Options but you can still use the keyboard shortcut CTRL + V to paste your content.
There is also a 'Paste from Word' button on the top right of the InstantPro editor.
The problem with pasting from other applications is that you can carry over unwanted formatting. If you want to prepare content in advance then a plain editor like Notepad or Notepad++ works well.
Unfortunately displaying content on the web is different than Word Processing so you have to make some allowances.
Formatting
Using the Return key from within InstantPro should create spaces between your paragraphs.
Using Tables to create containers to control your content also works well with InstantPro.
If you are having a particular problem with something perhaps provide a link to the problem page and I'm sure people will try to help :¬)
