I know a lot of people who watch the news...
And I know almost as many who enjoy watching the news...
However...
I know very few who actually listen to the news...
Which is a shame, because they are, I think, missing out on what is, consistently, the funniest television around today...
Although the subject matter of ethnic cleansing, rape, murder, etc... May not always be the most comforting, the presentation, style pairing with a complete lack of content, morality, the ability to sensationalise, selective statistics and complete lack of factual information.
The real jewel in the 'Entertainment News' crown is that of the journalists, and 'journo speak'.
By over exaggeration, dramatic flare, enormous speculative leaps, (so large as to impress even superman), which are then presented as fact. To be openly bias, moralise for us, ignore facts, and so much more...
All coupled with images often unconnected with actual events.
It good to know that Britain’s heritage of sophisticated cutting edge humour is being up kept by many of TV’s flagship programmes
