When I logged out a few minutes ago after posting my "Webserver 3" item I received this error:
To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has blocked this website from displaying content with security certificate errors. Click here for options...
This is using IE7 and is displayed in a drop down information bar type thing. I can't see any details on the certificate error though?
I also see this when logging back in. Ignoring it, gets me in as normal. IE isn't showing any certificate errors when I display your certificate directly?
Firefox isn't seeing this.
Tried clearing my temp files etc. but still see it?
Asking for 'more info' only opens the generic IE certificate help pages...
Any one else getting this or is it just me?!
[s]Hmmm...[/s] In IE:
To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has blocked this website from displaying content with security certificate errors. Click here for options...
and some of the page images fail to display.
FF loads but fails to display all the images...
It looks like it's a different issue to last time (just the same error) - if you should need more details just let me know :¬)
[s]Hmmm...[/s]EDIT: Typical!
The error had been there most of this morning - as soon as I go to the trouble of posting it's gone :¬)
Anyway you should see that the Analytics code has been updated in most places now.

No problem - that's also what Google are recommending.
Still strange that sites such as www.blogger.com which is owned by Google haven't made the change yet!?!
[s]Hmmm...[/s] Will probably use the code that allows urchin and analytics and detects http or https as that should cover everything.
I see you've added an 'ssl' sub-domain which others have had success with.
I would replace the legacy 'urchin' code with GA at some point ready for when Google stop supporting it (eventually).
It also has better https support :¬)
[s]Hmmm...[/s] After clearing the browser cache are you still seeing this error? I've updated the URL to the JS file as I suspect just adding https to the existing one was the cause of the problem. I was able to produce the problem on the machine here and it's not appearing now.
I tried turning off JavaScript and no longer received the error.
So I guess it's related to one of the scripts you are calling, the Google Analytics or a.n.other...?
Happy to test any pages for you if that helps :¬)
EDIT: One last poke about.
When I get the certificate error IE displays the 'done, but with errors on page' message in the bottom left of the browser.
Displaying the details shows:
Message: Object expected
Line: 509
Char: 1
Code: 0Line 509 is "urchinTracker();" from your Analytics code...
This is the login page I'm using: https://secure.freeola.com/myfreeola/login.php
[s]Hmmm...[/s] As I mentioned, I cleared my cache...
If others aren't seeing it then it's not a biggie, but thought it was worth a post as it could affect customers trying to 'sign up' !
[s]Hmmm...[/s]
