I wasn't a great fan of it, but I do remember being totally addicted to the orginal on the Amiga for months. Here are a few screenshots of the new one for all you Settlers nuts:

whoa, some really lush graphics there.. I remember settlers 3, Fighting System was so bad :(

(had to kill towers, that is all..)

I remember playing the settlers 2 demo years ago, me and my brother just couldn't put it down, and when we got the full game entire weekends where lost building up our civilisations. Never really liked the two sequels though, but Settlers 5 looks like it could make up for those two games shortcomings.
