The current programs couldn't bring out any natural reactions even if they had 64 days to do it.
Big Brother: 11 people locked in a house for 64 days with a bunch of chickens, two fish and stupid weekly challenges.
This is now supposedly to show the real side of eleven misfits whenever they do not have to carry out other mundane activities such as shopping, and this year, absolutely nothing happened.
And do we know anything about the housemates that we didn't know before they entered... no
Survivor: Some people stranded on a desert island with no food, and are also asked to partake in stupid challenges, i.e standing on a log for over 24 hours, staying underwater for as long as possible.
In all "reality" TV, everyone plots against everyone else, and while this happens in real life, arguements occur over the most petty of things.
"Reality" TV is more humor- Brian comparing chickens to "demons", every single personal trait is brought out, and magnified.
If these people were not famous, then we would find them annoying and loud. However the fact that they are famous means that they are now catchphrases as it were, and people are being paid vast amounts of money for beign annoying.
All for the sake of "quality television"
