It is worth it and its just as good as Splinter Cell 2.
Rainbow 6 3 = An OK single player with a brilliant multiplayer.
Splinter cell 2 = A brilliant single player with an OK single player.

I just got RS3 a couple of weeks ago so im not getting SC2 for a while, i was chatting to one of my friends on Live and he said that the game is great but the multiplayer gets a bit boring after about an hour.
It was worth £50 (well for the headset version anyway) brand new, so obviously it is worth £20.
Single player wasn't worth a GAD claim.
Multiplayer....never played.

Single Player never has been anything special in Rainbow games right from when the series started, but online multiplayer is something special, top quality online game with an enjoyable single player mode!
No, single player was a serious component - all the planning and teamwork.

Only reason people would say this is because
A) They suck at the game
B) They haven't got the patience to learn the levels and new style of play
C) All of the above
Splinter Cell 2 really does rock online. The majority of people who have complained about it or call it boring are only saying this because they suck at it, if you haven't got the patience to learn the game and expect to be winning all the time then I'd stear well clear of it. It's a difficult game but once you really get to grips with it, it's one of the most rewarding games on Live.
