has anyone else experienced problems with transfering in a .com domain recently? i initiated a transfer some weeks before christmas, paid for it and still waiting for it to be transfered. i have spoke with the tech support guys and its a fault further down the line, just curious to know if there are many others with the same problem...

i followed the steps online. for transfering a .co.uk its just the ips tags and i did one of thsoe last night and it went through straight away, .com seems to be different. you have to change the admin email address etc with the current host which i have done. i was just curious to see if anyone else has been having problems.

In my experience transfers normally happen very quickly.

What I do is arrange with the current provider or owner to change the IPS TAG to FREEOLA. Then the transfer normally takes less than a day.

Did you arrange for the IPS TAG to be changed or are Freeola managing this for you?
