Hi,
I am trying to get my brothers gamecube setup with surround sound and noticed that there is a 'Digital AV Out Socket' on the back of the cube, i have looked around the house for the cable but cant seem to find it, and i am wondering if there actually was one of these cables supplied with the gamecube in the first place.
Also if anyone else has setup surround sound on there gamecube could you say how and did you follow a similiar method to this:

Any help would be appreciated,
Thankyou,

I plug the yellow picture component cable into the SCART plug thang, and the red/white aural plugs into the back of my DVD player, set it to Dolby ProLogic II and it works dandy.

On the scart, alternatively if you get the official RGB scart then you need a TV that can decode Pro Logic 2 signals so you can run it through there as the advanced RGB scart doesn't have a stereo block.

Yes through the two Stereo sockets. Either 2 channel, 4 channel stereo or through Pro Logic 2 providing you have an AMP to decode Dolby Pro Logic signals.

Pro Logic 2 is 3 channel stereo and 2 channel mono but its the best the Cube offers.

AV = Audio-visual. It's only used on NTSC Gamecubes (ie. USA and Japan) and not PAL consoles.
