I was playing Rainbow Six 3 this morning when i decided to play the Single player mode for the first time, it was awsome!
I dont know why people say its poor, the amount of team work and demands you can do is great, the game is so realistic and detailed. I know Splinter Cell : Pandora Tommorow is a Tom Clancy game and thats supposed to be good too, can anyone give me a good Tom Clancy site with all the games hes made.
I normally go on Live when playing Rainbow Six 3 but now im addicted to the Single Player modes, i think im on mission 3 (Oil Refinery) but im finding it quite hard as my team keeps getting wiped out leaving me by myself having to kill loads of terrorists.
One more thing, when im choosing my equipment and wepons what is the best gun to use on the Oil Refinery Mission?

Rainbow Six single player has always been about having one life.
It's meant to be a psuedo realistic experience of a terrorist hunt, so, if it WERE real, would you get more than one life?
Also, it adds tension, and a need for stealth into teh game - if you had, say, 3 lives, you could just run in, and not need much tactics, no?
The levels for me are alright, and its style suits me.

It was good at first, then I realised how limited and claustrophobic the levels are. also the way you all only get one life is annoying, if one gets shot early on then you end up restarting and after a while it just gets very tiresome.
Fun for a while but ultimatly repetetive and boring.

Rainbow Six 3 single player is a travesty, in particular to my expectations.

I just started the second mission and im finding it really hard, but i dont want any help as i have to do this alone with my dog.....
