However, the worlds quota has been consistantly exceeded since the inception of 'Pop' music.
Bad lyrics, though always readily avalible, are not limited to the top 40 tracks...
The number of respected musician and song writers, who, havnt, in their time written at least one song containing a dodgy lyric or two must surely be readily countable on digits of one hand...
Which are the lyrics that REALLY suck?
Lyrics that are either so bad that nothing short of the burning of the writer and all knowledge of them, will stop the otherwise resulting Armageddon...
Or that are so bad, that alike the infamous 'Plan 9' they are actually quite funky?
Just a couple that srping to mind...
Its just another Manic Monday.
I wish it was Sunday.
Because thats my Funday.
Bangles, Manic Monday
I'm afraid of the dark,
Especially in the Park
In the dark.
Gabrielle, some track or other.
Any other ideas?
Flash Gordon coming in on Starboard side (???)
Send out the something or others to bring back his body.

I have a pet annoyance about The Avalanches. Quite like them but I hate all the shouts of how totally and unimaginably original they are. Rubbish! They are doing EXACTLY what Kid Koala (to name but one) has been doing for YEARS.
There Ausie DJ is fantastic though. Say him at DMX a year or two ago and he is so, so good.

No. Simply no. Live and Let Die by Wings is total quality and the Moby James Bond theme is pretty damn great when your in a dancing mood.

It's about potential - makes more sense if you listen to the whole song. The propper DFH version and not the Ed Case's rubbish remix.
> Any James Bond song.
Goldfinger... Now that could ve taken in 3 senses... ;-)
Also the new one from The Avalanches, Frontier Psychiatrist
The whole song is completly bonkers.
