Well, I was on another forum recently and they had one. Simply, someone makes a riddle up and then others try and answer it. Don't give the game number (7,8,9) away though, or at least, not until a few bad guesses have gone by.
It can be about anything (place, item, weapon, character, event) but answers given must be explained. If not, the 'riddler' should neither confirm nor deny the answer.
Finally, give one clue for every 5 incorrect answers.
So, without further ado, here is the first :
There's this person I knew
Their friend splits my reality
I've not met them, to be true
But that's a simple technicality
Dragons roam, I had to fight
A premiere, it was, for me
Funny that it fits the rhyme
They spelt it with the e.
The skies opened again today
I thought about them lots
I left the top and walked right down
Then board the Ragnarok
It's kinda easy :D
