The website I am making uses a template that when changed all the other pages update automatically.....
I was optimising the template to make the website run faster, and as I was doing this I messed up an editable region of the template (which I reeeeealy wish I hadnt done)without realising, pressed save, and all the 46 pages of the website have updated themselves and are all corrupted...
Ive been trying to get back the old stuff for about 4 hours now and I cant figure it out.........
I think there is a way of getting your website off the internet from the last time you uploaded it, but im not sure....
This may not make sense because i'm very stressed and tired right now...
but any help would be grately appreciated.....
Thanks

Thanks for all the help.....
Thankfully Ive managed to get the website back, I lost some of the updates that I did, but that doesnt matter considering I could have lost the whole thing!
Thanks again

OK, really:
1) Move/zip all the files for your offline version (the one you corrupted) to another place on your PC.
2) FTP to your webspace using CuteFTP or WS_FTP.
3) Select all your files that are on the Internet and select "Download". This FTPs all the files from the server back to your PC. Make sure you download them to the same directory your offline version was in previously.
There you go. If it works, fine. If it doesn't, you're doing it wrong, so come back for more help.
